What we collect
When you request a valuation we collect your vehicle registration, mileage, condition details, and your contact information (name, phone number, email and postcode). We use the DVLA vehicle enquiry service to look up basic vehicle details from your registration.
How we use it
- To generate and confirm your cash offer.
- To contact you about your quote and arrange free collection.
- To make the payment for your vehicle and complete DVLA notification of the transfer.
- To meet our legal record-keeping obligations as a motor trader.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the parties needed to complete your sale — for example our collection agents and our payment provider — and with authorities such as the DVLA where legally required.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to 12 months. Completed-sale records are kept for 6 years to satisfy trading and tax requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
